Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of unsalted butter - softened

  • 2 ripe bananas

  • 2 eggs

  • ½ tsp. salt

  • 1 tsp. of vanilla extract

  • ¾ cup light brown sugar

  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour

  • 1½ tsp. of Heirloom Cinnamon 

  • ¾ tsp. of baking soda

  • 3 cups of old fashioned oats

  • 1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper. Set aside.

  • Combine softened butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar in a stand up mixer or with an electric hand mixer.

  • Mash together bananas using a fork and add to the butter mixture. Add eggs and vanilla extract. Mix on medium speed until well combined, about 1 minute.

  • Combine dry ingredients together: flour, baking soda, salt, and Heirloom Cinnamon. Add to wet ingredients and mix on low speed.

  • Add old fashioned oats and semisweet chocolate chips.

  • Using a spoon or ice cream scoop, add mounds of the dough to lined baking sheets.

  • Bake for 8-9 minutes or until slightly golden. Let cool down on wire rack before serving.
