Carrot Cake Trifle Workshop with Michelle Mau
Join us at The Deliciouser for a cozy and creative afternoon building the perfect carrot cake trifle! Pastry chef Michelle Mau will demonstrate how to make our Antica spiced carrot cake, before guiding you through assembling your own layered dessert. Each guest will receive pre-made carrot cake to work with, along with a piping bag of luscious cream cheese icing—freshly made and demonstrated by Michelle. We’ll also provide a variety of fun toppings to customize your trifle.

Kikuichi Knife Workshop & Tasting at The Deliciouser
The Deliciouser is bringing craftsmanship to the table with this hands-on, Saturday afternoon workshop. In collaboration with Kikuichi Cutlery, whose bladesmithing tradition dates back to the days of the samurai. This special event will highlight the precision of Kikuichi knives while exploring techniques that elevate ingredient preparation.
We’re excited to welcome Kikuichi’s Harry Rosenblum, who will showcase and demonstrate the craftsmanship behind these exceptional knives.

Join team Deliciouser as we welcome back guest chef Juan Umaña for a vibrant culinary exploration inspired by recent travels through Hawaii, Japan, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Nepal. This immersive, fully plant-based dining experience will celebrate bold flavors, nourishing ingredients, and the deep connections between food, culture, and technique. Each course will highlight local produce paired with global inspiration, showcasing how veggie forward ingredients can be transformed through traditional and modern cooking methods. The multi-course, vegan, tasting menu will be revealed upon arrival, unfolding as a journey of taste and storytelling.
Springtime Ricotta Gnocchi Workshop
Join Team Deliciouser as we welcome the flavors of spring with a hands-on Ricotta Gnocchi Workshop. Under the guidance of Chef Michelle Mau, we’ll roll delicate ricotta gnocchi seasoned with our house-blended spice, Antica. It will be paired with asparagus and peas for a fresh, vibrant dish.

Watercolor Feast with Erin Gleeson
Join us for a special evening with author and artist Erin Gleeson. Erin has recently moved to Madison from California where she's spent the last several years writing and illustrating her bestselling Forest Feast cookbooks series from her cabin in the redwoods. We are excited to feature a colorful, vegetarian 5-course menu inspired by her cookbooks. Each guest will receive a copy of Erin's latest book, The Watercolor Feast, which teaches readers to paint fruits, vegetables, and edible flowers. There will be watercolors and fresh produce set out at each table so guests can interact with the medium, learn from Erin, and make time for creativity and conversation over a vibrant meal.

Dumpling Workshop with Monique Long-Lu, of the Humbling Dumpling
Join The Deliciouser team for a dumpling-making workshop with Monique Long-Lu, of the Humbling Dumpling. Born and raised in Taiwan, Monique moved to Madison in 2017 and now calls it home. Her dumpling recipes celebrate seasonal ingredients and she will be the first to incorporate our new Szechuan 5-spice blend into her dumplings. She’ll share her recipes and everyone will have a chance to make their own.

Welcome to the jungle ladies! Perimenopause is under the rug no longer. Today's women aren't accepting "the change" in silence any longer. Every person with lady parts that gets to live to this stage of life WILL experience perimenopause and some will feel it more erratic than others. Some changes may feel seemingly unrelated and most, unfortunately, get dismissed by doctors, sending you on your way with a prescription for depression or anxiety meds. Join Chef Michelle Mau CFNC (certified functional nutrition counselor) for an afternoon of education on this phase of life on how to navigate it with skill, a healthy lunch and a safe space to share stories of experiences. We are thrilled to collaborate with Sarah Wells of Wells Farms & Neil Stalboeger, of Stalzy’s Deli to make the best smash burgers we’ve ever tasted! Learn to make Stalzy’s famous brioche buns and Deliciouser’s Tastes Like Victory spread, and we’ll demo how we make Sparkler spiced smash burgers with Wells’ local beef.

Heartland Grains Workshop
Join us for a delicious exploration of local, regeneratively grown grains as we welcome Rochelle & Evan Schnadt, proprietors of Heartland Craft Grains. Their family farm selects grains with a reputation for flavor and deploys farm practices focused on creating healthier soil, in turn growing nutrient-dense and flavorful grains to be enjoyed in the kitchen with family and friends. This workshop highlights the culinary potential of these regional treasures with a flavorful menu: braised lamb ragu over goat cheese polenta, complemented by a fresh spring salad. Participants will also receive a 2# package featuring Heartland Craft Grains polenta and a pouch of Deliciouser Herbes de Provence spice blend.
