An Intimate Dinner with Suzanne Caporael

Join us for a fundraiser celebrating Tandem Press artist-in-residence Suzanne Caporael. Ticket proceeds go to supporting graduate student assistantships at Tandem Press. Hosted in the warm, inviting space of The Deliciouser, the evening will feature a seasonal four-course tasting menu and wine pairings crafted by chef Patrick O’Halloran. Each guest will receive a complimentary bottle of 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon from Hamel Family Wines (Sonoma Valley), featuring a limited-edition label designed by the artist.

Seating is limited for this intimate gathering. We invite you to reserve your place and be part of this unique intersection of art, food, and community. Pricing is set at $225 per guest.

About Tandem Press:
Tandem Press is a publisher of fine art prints that hosts internationally renowned artists in its studio space, assisting them as they create original fine art editions.Tandem Press is an important educational entity affiliated with the Art Department within the School of Education at the University of Wisconsin. Students employed at Tandem work alongside our collaborative printers and curators in gaining unparalleled hands-on experience in the commercial print world. We partner with other departments at the university and organizations throughout Wisconsin to offer tours, printmaking workshops, and artist talks to the university and general public at large.

About the artist:
Suzanne Caporael has created more than sixty prints over the course of her three-decade collaboration with Tandem Press. Her work is rooted in a deep exploration of perception, translating complex concepts—from the periodic table and tree rings to estuaries, ice, and time—into striking visual forms. A Guggenheim fellow, Caporael has exhibited widely, and her work is held in numerous public and private collections, including the Carnegie Museum of Art, Chazen Museum of Art, Fogg Art Museum at Harvard University, High Museum of Art, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and the Whitney Museum of American Art, among others.She currently lives and works in Islesboro, Maine.
