Ingredients
1 cup ruby port wine
1⁄2 cup apple cider
1 cup brown sugar, packed
3 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
2 Tbsp. Unsalted butter
2 Tbsp. Sichuan Five Spice Powder

Directions:
Combine first five ingredients in a heavy bottomed sauce pot along with the Sichuan Five Spice Powder.
Bring the pot to gentle simmer just until the sugar melts and the flavors meld.
Brush your ham with a light coating of the glaze and cook following package instructions.
Use the mixture liberally to baste the ham in the final 20 minutes of cooking to create the final glaze.
Pro tip: add the 1⁄2 cup of drippings from the roasting pan to a mixture of 1⁄2 cup Dijon mustard and 1 cup of mayonnaise to create a spirited sauce.
