Piper Cubeba Tailed Peppercorns

This is a mostly underground peppercorn with a growing cult following. Cubeb lost the pepper wars during the Age of Discovery as the King of Portugal suppressed its sale in Europe in order to bolster his country's control of the black peppercorn market. This peppercorn is a fascinating ingredient showing hot and bitter black pepper flavor tinged with warm hints of allspice and nutmeg.
