Mediterranean Spice Blend
This popular blend of herbs and spices has been used throughout the Mediterranean for centuries. A balanced blend of tart sumac and traditional herbs of the region is found on tables across the Middle East along with salt, pepper, and chiles.
Main Ingredients: cured sumac, sesame seeds, chili peppers, and rose petals
Deliciouser with: hummus, chicken, eggs, feta, tomatoes, potatoes, avocados, toasted pita, olive oil, Greek yogurt, roasted eggplant, fish, fresh salad greens

Suggested Uses:
Make toasted or grilled crostini- top with olive oil, burrata cheese and a sprinkle of Za'atar
Perfect seasoning for a swirl of hummus topped with olive oil
Cut pita, naan or flatbread into bite size wedges, coat with olive oil and Za'atar and toast in a 375º oven for 15 minutes or until crisp- serve with hummus
Season fresh tomato salads with cucumber, bell peppers, feta cheese, lemon and olive oil- top with a liberal dusting of Za'atar
Gives pep to sautèed broccoli and spinach
Pairs with roasted cauliflower and labneh
Use to season lentils, beans and chickpeas
Adds texture and zing to creamy pasta dishes
Mix with olive oil and Greek yogurt to marinate lamb, chicken and beef
Add to melted butter and toss with stovetop popcorn
Add Za'atar to a dish of olive oil- serve with warm, crusty baguette
Marinate olives with Za’atar and olive oil
Season babaganoush, carrot, beet and potato salads
Use with scrambled eggs and omelettes
Perfect on a plate of ripe summer tomatoes
Use with soft cheeses like feta, ricotta and chèvre
Slather salmon with olive oil, lemon juice and yogurt- roast until done and season liberally with Za’atar
